wow. im still high from sniffing all that nitrous. twas a wonderful experience as always.... however......

i have never known the british weather to be quite that bad, then changeableso far down south. one minute i was frying in the sun because i couldnt be ***** to go back to the tent to get the sun cream...... next minute.... continual torrential rain.

needless to say, it made for the campsite being a boggy soggy quagmire. have pics to prove it!

and i guess i have to admit to being totally evil. i rather enjoyed watching people get stuck in the mud because they were so daft as to expect their vehicles to cope. muahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

daft ****.

I went 4 or 5 years ago for the Performance bikes GSXR day. Ruined a tyre in one day without doing donuts!

yup i do actually. i just have to be ***** to upload them all to photobucket. i have loads. think im gonna go make some coffee first -rolls eyes- mumble grumble @ mornings.

Tough life aye!

It would be great to see them, thinking about it why don't you just start a new thread in the picture section and stick them straight up there?

Failing that, you can batch upoload to photobucket saves a bit of time, but gets a bit unreliable if you upload more than about 5 at a time.

I tried drag racing once................ but kept tripping over in the high heels.

I did go there once to a "run what ya' brung" day. It was when the Escort cosworth first came out. All these flash boys with the new toys all got thrashed by an old MK1 Cortina with a cossie engine. It looked a right wreck but blew them all away. Classic.

It was amazing how many boy racers had the engine blow up and oil going everywhere!!

ha. steve for sure. well, i suppose i could eat a cheese and onion pie

santa pod is seriously cool for all those who havent been. they have various events on throughout the year. check out http://www.santapod.co.uk/ if steve is home when its on, i wanna go to the event in september. the four days including camping only costs £46 or something if you get it in advance. i think under 16's go free. its excellent. i can thoroughly recommend it.

sigh.... the smell of top fuel fumes, nitrous, burning rubber...... the memories.

you can walk through the pits day and night and talk to the crews. they even have showers (thank f for that). you arent allowed dogs with you or glass bottles, but id recommend bringing your own alcohol. its rrrrather expensive. and the catering was good. omg .... they had a van selling REAL coffee. i was sorted :) .
