And I'll be trapping for most of this year. We may be getting some more traps as well. That is a good number, since not all shooting people go on PW. No doubt shooting people will be playing a part in the control/extermination of the Grey Squirrel. We eradicated them from our estate at one point. If every country landowner could do that we would soon have rid of them. We did it fairly easily. EDIT: Got back from checking the trap. 1 in trap, and the farmer shot 1 in his garden. Reece Posted May 19, 2012 Report Share Posted May 19, 2012 (edited) I went up the farm and the farmer got one in his garden. 1124 Little tip to anyone using traps, try to use a bait they don't already have in the wild, because they will investigate anything unfamiliar. Maize usually works. Nutella and peanut butter work as well. And cover cage traps over - Squirrels are inquisitive and will investigate it.
