BobSki
hi does any one know where the above is :good: Well, Googling your head line "Blighton Clay Pigeon brought up several responses but it would seem that Blighton should be spelled BLYTON. If I am right, BLYTON is in Gainsborough and the clay ground that came up was one called Pinewood Pinewood Shooting Ground Sandbeck Lane, Blyton, GAINSBOROUGH, DN21 3LN I don't know if that is the one you wanted but it was all I could find by searching Blighton. canthitathing
Nice place to shoot. They have a page on Facebook as well
Bloke
You can't miss it easily,. If you are coming from Gainsborough, as you go into the village, the road bends fairly sharply to the right, immediately after that there is a road on your left Sandbeck Lane. There is usually a sign board for pinewood at the junction. Go down the lane to the end, through the big steel gates and follow the track to the end and you are in Pinewood car park, simples! Open Wed to Saturday, maybe see you there.

dan-250
That's where I shoot, mainly sporting over the pond, but they have 2 compact layouts, sporting, skeet , fitasc . It's good and friendly up there, can use plastic wads too but I use fibre anyways, theres an air rifle range there can spend the full day plodding around. Have a go on archery, but look out for the dogs there huge, but lovely ! Open weds-sat. I'll be there next weekend, trying to get used to sxs shooting
original 45
As above - great place to go. Pity I only found it existed last year !! All the folks I've met there have been friendly & helpful. The sporting layout changes regulary to keep you on your toes, the cafe serves good food & drink and all of the current shooting magazines are on hand to read if you fancy a sit down ! Also clay cartridge prices there are some of the most competitive you will find. As mentioned in above posts there is an air rifle range & field target layout which i think is only £5/6 for the entire day.
dan-250
It's £5 for the day on air rifle. Has field target, hft range and a long range round the back of the pond upto 100 yrds, the air rifle bunch seem to be regulars and all have a good laugh. Didn't realise the layouts changed for the clays, but then I haven't Been going long. And the cafe is great, I spend more time in there than shooting haha
