Well first time out this year and it was a very big moon with light cloud cover, not ideal for foxing on foot but we were keen after a big break over the holidays.

We only saw x2 I shot them both the first was squeaked into 118m's and shot of sticks a very big dog who was limping sightly

the second of a rolled up coat on the bonnet at 163m's

Then i had to get up early to meet Jez a regular client shot these 2 this morning after x2 seperate stalks.

Quite a few deer moving this morning even though it was like daylight all night under that moon.

This one in half light at 109m's

then 1/2 hour later this one a quick shot to the upper neck at 30ish m's

Shot 1 this morning while out with a client, I had to take the shot as it wasn't safe for him to get the shot past my head.

It was moving so i hit it back and it pulled itself down a culvert so no photo. It was dogging, 3 foxes in the wood barking, we saw another on the ride but it heard the safety come off and ran into the trees. We also saw a doe but she never presented a shot. All without moving from the place from where the first shot was taken.
