New winter project....

Have always avoided duke's to be honest but needed another bike and thought "sod it" if it's a disaster I'll know not to buy another , and it does have a nice rumble even with standard cans...have started pulling it to bits to give it a good scrub and get standard bits and a few modest additions...

 

Has done 214 miles since 2005....

:lol: I hope not! To be honest my expectations are low so hopefully it'll be ok, away to do a set of belts on her just as a precaution and check the usual Italian lady complaints...

 

And no - not changing my user name as the gixer's are still the top bike in my eyes.

 

One thing that has annoyed me is that in 5 owners all have had it serviced regular as clockwork bar one who missed couple of services (although they were required due to time not mileage which takes a bit of the sting out I guess..)

 

Actually looking forwards to getting a run on her!

They are like anything else, properly looked after and they are as reliable as the next bike. However looking after them properly is a bit more time consuming than on a jap bike.

The only exception to this is in the electrical department ! :lol:

Give the pizza munching coward captain producers thier due - when I saw the exhaust I thought "oh dear" but it seems like it might come up ok!
