Wiggum
I have been having a look on evil bay recently for a speed controller for my pigeon magnet but if they all cost around this price I might not bother and they have the cheek to ask for £2 postage too ! Check out this listing
jacksdad
Well its certainly got our attention now! This sort of thing appears a lot on fleabay, I was once told the seller did it as he was out of stock but didn't want to close the listing.....or maybe he wants people to post his details on other internet forums, whilst they check out the rip off item they click on 'other items'.....crafty ****! Pipmoff
If you want one go for the magtame, they are good bits of kit.

turbo33
There are cheaper ones than magtame, but theres a reason why Magtame make THE best ones in my opinion and the service is better than you will get for anything anywhere. I have just bought another magtame one for a second rotary. I returned the original for repair due to my own fault. It arrived back the next day for £12 including postage. Tony is a top bloke to deal with. I believe the cheaper ones have different and less comprehensive internals so use a lot more battery power wasting the excess to control the speed. Magtame all the way for me

Skid
Has anyone taken a speed contoller apart? Curious to know if there is anything more than just a variable resistor inside them for the price. Or do they use pulse width modulation in the better ones? Check out this listing Hi Wiggum I just bought same of these on the bay and they work a treat. I even use my one to dim the lamp down when shooting lamp shy rabbits. The link is below good luck. There have been quite a few threads about controllers on here.

HW682
Do you know if that's even the cheaper ones or just the Magtame? All the ones I have seen pictures of in various threads *appear* to be PWM.
