TbirdX
I put a drop or two of bore cleaner on it and scrub with a brass brush myself. Doesn't take too long usually.

shot shot
I use the back of a knife blade, just go easy and with plenty of solvent. Comes up spotless every time

Mike525steel
Carburettor cleaner works well Carburettor cleaner works well Bloke in the browning tent at the midland game fair said about brake cleaner. But the carb cleaner works just as well and not as messy
coyotemaster
I use a kitchen cellulose sponge, it works a treat. +++ I use what we call a scotch brite (no offense Dave) it is an abrasive pad used to clean up pots---works super on the gas tube. Batch
As a couple of others have suggested, I use the green scouring pads with some bore cleaner, always seems to do the trick. I think the manual recommends the use of the green pads as well?!
