BBC News & The Hunting Act

I have encountered the folk that go doing this stuff many times, usually on my fields and despite many times being told not to. I can't abide the stuck up idiots, they deserved all they got.

However, I am not in favour of the ban. As long as the ones doing the hunting ignore the ban and the police ignore those doing the hunting I think everything will work out OK.

If/when the antis all start joining in again, that's when the police should step in.

Typical clap trap class prejudice that was behind the ban in the first place.

Toffs that hunt, shoot driven pheasants and wear tweeds, demonise them all and vote Labour. That's the way forward.

The Act is stupid and ill considered, and doesn't deliver what most activists wanted/think!

There is NO ban on Fox Hunting, just on some ways of doing it, no less fox are killed, possibly even more now.

Within days of the ban I was approached by a hunt to go and shoot a fox for the drag, I got 2, after a little work on the fox some poor sap had to stroll off round the countryside with a Hessian sack of them!

Dumb law...... but we have had this debate many a time!

I'm sure the police have much better/more important things to do than try and enforce this.

There are people out there robbing murdering beating people up hurting children etc etc.

if this is more important than sorting those other things out then.... well.... I'm lost for words.

How is it class prejudice or clap trap?

All the ones I have encountered have been stuck up. Usually shouting at me from their horse to open the damned gate so they can come through. The gate being my gate to my field.

They have been told dozens of times not to come on my farm yet they still do, often breaking down gates or fences in the process. They then ride their horses through my crops accompanied by their dogs.

Explain to me how that is OK, explain how it is any different than ****** in off roaders with lurchers tearing around fields. Tell me you don't look down at the ****** that do that, then tell me that isn't class prejudice.

I didn't mention what they wore or anything about pheasants, you did that all on your own.

I have never voted Labour either, nor would I.
