vulpicide Posted February 19, 2012 Report Share Posted February 19, 2012 SACS will be there I cannot reveal it all yet but it will be geared up with Youngsters in mind as its on over the Easter weekend the prices will be good I will promote special offers etc. Bada will be sharing the stand with SACS I should have Ferrets on the stand. The BADA team have a tick awareness week coming up at the end of March I will keep you informed on that as well.This is the first fair on this site and Jane who ran D&G is pushing this hard I will keep you all informed Pm me for further details or trade enquiries. vulpicide Posted February 27, 2012 Report Share Posted February 27, 2012 Ok Just got the word we are doing a try clay shoot for Youngsters at the moment I have most of the Cartridges but I'm still looking for donations We will be running this Free Of Charge for Juniors maybe 5 shots each and some static targets for the Wee ones. We will also have an Airgun Section again this will probably Free Of Charge. I'm also trying for a casting clinic as well . vulpicide Posted April 8, 2012 Report Share Posted April 8, 2012 Just about to go to KIP Knackered after the Dalkieth show BUT many thanks to the SACS members for donating cartridges to let us do a FREE try clays for YOUNGSTERS and also Kenny and the BOYS from Juniper Green AIR Rifle club for running the try air rifles for KIDS again free of charge our members donated cartridges so that we could do the WHOLE EVENT Free of Charge. My wife Donna (the EASTER MOMMY) ran the nature quiz all right answers got a cream egg everybody got a lolly all Free many thanks to Jane Sergeant for inviting us and the Buccleuch estates for their help and hospitality. The first year of any fair is allways difficult but I must commend the SACS members for turning out and taking advantage of the concesions for half price entry (except for the ones who had'nt read the magazine HA HAHA)you know who you are. For my two favourite members thank you for the spicy sausage I had it with some pickled chillies some cheese and a bottle of CAVA thanks to all especially the VOLUNTEERS who made it all possible EVENTS CO-ORDINATOR was superb I honestly could'nt do it without her and ELSPETH in the office who always makes thing possible and last but not least Captain CHAOS (Ian) who has learned to delegate Great Effort ALL ocerned You all put a LOT back into the sport this weekend PROUD TO BE A PART OF IT TAM ... mowdy Posted April 9, 2012 Report Share Posted April 9, 2012 I must have gone to a different show to every one else on here £10X2 to get in and look at 8 trade stands and a guess the weight of 2 lambs and a very small craft tent!.£10 each was too much for a 20min stroll max around a field I will not be back for one!. vulpicide Posted April 9, 2012 Report Share Posted April 9, 2012 Sorry to hear that, SACS members got in two for a tenner and this was the first fair for a young staff all the SACS members I spoke to were delighted at the fact we were giving free shooting for youngsters and free cream eggs and lollys did you go over to the clay shoot or come in to the SACS tent to say hello?
