Stealth Net with green mesh backing.

I received my new Stealth net with the green mesh backing yesterday from UKShootwarehouse (they deliver things so quickly, they almost arrive before you place the order :) ).

I used it this morning and having been a critic of the black mesh backed Stealth nets, I must say I am impressed with this new style. :good:

As I frequently have to erect four sided hides, the green background is great.

IMO when the hide is erected with four sides and the inside of the net is the back drop, a shooter is better concealed with the green background, than the black background (unless he is dressed all in black).

Did you shoot more pigeons?

I got one a couple of weeks ago, as I used a 3 sided hide, and the hedges not being too full I did add another net along the bottom, the stealth give great visibility out of the hide.

Like it a lot, be interesting how it works when the hedges are in full bloom.

Like a lot of things regarding pigeon shooting, there is little scientific evidence to support our opinions, but if it gives me more confidence, then yes I expect to shoot more pigeons.

Agreed

I doubt very much whether it will be any more effective than the old black mesh ones, but if you're happy with your purchase , then that's all that counts.

I'm still a firm believer that colours and shades of hides aren't important, though i still try to match a hide to a backdrop if i can.
