Cosd
Having recently bought a dozen FUDs, apparently the new UV enhanced ones, I can't help but think the print is very light. The best way I can describe the colours is washed out. Not what I expected being they are in effect a photo. Looking at pictures and videos of them on the internet, the colours seems very vivid, but these ones are feint. The neck and wing bars don't stand out at all and just look like another shade of grey. Has anyone noticed this? I did call the shop I bought them from in case they were a faulty batch, but I was told that the new type are like this; To be fair to the shop they did say they would be happy to refund me which isn't what I was after. I have sent an e-mail to NRA FUD direct to see what they say, because the print on my FUDs is nothing like that of those on their website. On the plus side, I have used them and the birds have decoyed to them, so what am I complaining about I hear you say, it's simply what I can see and that is the print isn't what I expected for photo realism. Obviously I never had mine last time we met, but from memory yours did seem darker and more vivid. I will get in touch about the dippa pegs because they worked a treat on the old shells, so will be looking at getting the FUDs on them too. I could have done with them last Saturday when there was little or no wind!!
