Wharf Rat
Anyone have any tips for hitting springing teals? They drove me nuts at the weekend!
WelshLamb
just as they stop at the peak of their travel, aim just underneath them Edited March 8, 2012 by WelshLamb

leeds chimp
i find teal quite easy to hit most of the time. Just aim quite a bit above them
Beretta28g
I find teal easy to hit (the birds not the clays) as my night of 7 for 10 shots shows.
MartynGT4
I prefer to take them on the way down or at the top. Sometimes we play games of see who can take it the latest often with it breaking only about a foot off the ground, great fun. Just allow for the fact it's slowing down as it approaches the top, just timing really. Once you get a feel for them you'll be hitting them all day long. I was hoping you wouldn't notice that post! Chonkers I am OK on, so lets hope Alan doesn't dare put a trap on the floor right in front of the cages... Dibs
They never stop. They are either going up or coming down. I hit them on the way up. I don't follow it from the trap but have the gun 1/2 to 3/4 up its flight path swing up onto it with it on the barrel pull the trigger and keep the gun moving, it makes it's own lead as its slowing. Works for me. Edited March 9, 2012 by Dibs
