Caddyman
Hi all, Now proud owner of a nice 12g A391 Urika courtesy of Parrots2 - thanks. Intend to fit swivels and a sling but have no experience of this. Googling around I see in the states you can get a replacement forend cap which has the swivel incorporated. Looks like a neat way of doing it. What does everyone out there have on theirs or recommend? Suppliers etc? Cheers
coyotemaster
As I recall the 391 I had came supplied with a sling attachment that fit between the mag. cap and the forend. I did install a stud in the stock as I feel a gun without a sling is bothersome. If you are handy you can do it yourself otherwise have a smith do it, not rocket science but you can make a mess of it if not careful. killer_pigeon
cheaper option is getting a sling ring that sits under the forend cap with sling loop built onto it
Tod
mine came with the swivel on the stock, the front just goes behind the fore end screw
Oly
What about the rear swivel stud if you have a synthetic version? Presumably you can't drill it like wood??

Oly
my hatstand has synthetic stock and smithy fitted rear stud on it So did he just drill it and use a normal swivel?
killer_pigeon
You just drill them as normal and get some threadlock\araldite\plastic glue on the stud screw thread to lock it home, good and secure in sythetic stock
DSPUK
I have a 391 synthetic and the supplied Beretta sling and fittings - one end fit's over mag tube then put forend nut on - the other end is just screwed into stock - drill a pilot hole and just screw it in. The plastic is quite thick, Easy dave
