GREENGRASS
Awesome Thanks MIA Tweaked the contrast down on this second shot. I was after hares but they did not show :look: I feel the shot would have been a little more impactive with a lower POV. Distance 79.0 meters. GREENGRASS
Great pic's mate Ps, do you ever carry a gun these days No Magman I would have missed anyway I have a Beretta Ulrika AL391 semi auto 12g in the gun safe. It's had about 3 outings bought after a car accident were I suffered a back injury. It's had about 80 to 100 cartridges through it. To say it’s in mint condition is an understatement. I should really sell it on as it will never be used. That's unless someone attempts to steal my photography equipment My daughters have cleaned it more than it’s been used to be honest, to gain pocket money. GREENGRASS
Thanks to you all for looking in. I enjoy all your comments and views regarding the wildlife photography. I feel very humble and privileged to have such opportunities near to my locality. It is a great pleasure observing the wildlife and capturing them in their natural environment. I have also had the chance to be so close to a large stag that I could hear him breathing and as he did his body expanding, compressing. To smell the damp dewy ordure coming from his body. At this point your controlling the breathing, you focus and depress the shutter but nothing happens. A flat battery of all things. The spare is in the bag which is on the ground within touching distance. However you cannot move, the beast looks staring into the len's and all I could do was smile to myself and curse myself inwardly. It will come again, I hope anyway. Now I have learned to always have two batteries attached to the camera and spares close to my chest. It was a costly learning curve not to capture such a moment but a moment in time I will never forget. GG
