chady
Hi. Been out today and come to the conclusion I and the miss can do with some lessons! The reason why I have been avoiding this is because there are two of us; it looks like a lot of money! In the region of £100 for an hour!!! So dose any one know of any people around this area (Leicestershire) who are good and I should approach and any idea on costs?? Thanks Jamie

poontang
Speak to Ed Solomons on here. Can't say what he'd charge, but he'll be your best bet.

cant hit rabbits 123
Hello chap, I'm in Whitwick, just down the road from you. I've never had a serious lesson, just had a go at a club one day and caught the bug. However, I hear Kibworth do some good lessons, and I think there might be lessons avilable at Doveridge as well. seeker
If you're within a reasonable distance of Junction 16 M1.. ? There's John Trayling at Courteen Hall. His own ground and only does lessons. I haven't been for a year or more, so don't know current prices, but it's per hour and includes clays. johntraylingshooting.co.uk/
chady
Hi was at kibworth yesterday and over herd they want 55 each for a hour... pluss we provide cartriges . So £128 a hour I am not going to bother. Now the sport is getting expensive if going down that route. So just trying to find some one a lot more reasonable . HDAV
Carl bloxham is good value £120 ish per person for a whole day! However an hour that gets you shooting better at £100 is better value than a lesson that doesn't and costs £10 for a day! Value and. cost is hard to judge for lesson until you have had it. Best lesson I had, I never fired a single shot Edited March 25, 2012 by HDAV

chady
£55 each. =£110 They say 50 clays per person 2 x 50=100 Clays 100 x .18p = £18 110 + 18 = £
chady
When I said we provide cartridges ment you have to pay for them your self
HDAV
Carl bloxham has a website with contact details and has a coach day at Ian Coleys on 5th of April http://www.carlbloxham.co.uk/Welcome.html
sitsinhedges
£55 each. =£110 They say 50 clays per person 2 x 50=100 Clays 100 x .18p = £18 110 + 18 = £128 A shared lesson isn't double the price You will also find that an introductory lesson is only £40 including cartridges. That gets you a sit down lesson about safety and gunfit etc then a box or so of cartridges with a club gun on the range. Quite good for anyone wanting a go
