I must get some confrimation of minimum Numbers by the 6th of April or the whole thing could be in serious Jeopardy.. All those who havent contacted me yet and voted for the 12th - 13th please let me know if you are attending and which days.... Even if you are not attending and originally indicated you were please let me know also so I can discount.you. We ( Thunderbird and I ) are meeting the proprietor of the venue on the 7th and there is a lot of organisation to take place regarding provision of food and drink. Get yourselves organised and contact me with a yes or no and no perhaps, depends, maybe's... indecision is no good to us you can reply on here or PM me I dont mind. Through various chats and emails I have a rough running total which I've shared with Mike, and if people stick to their original intentions there would be at least 10 people per night, even taking into account a couple of people may only only be staying one night. Thunderbird Posted April 5, 2012 Report Share Posted April 5, 2012 OK remember the deadline is tomorrow for bookings on this. PM to Fisherman Mike your commitment for one or both nights. If we get fewer than 10 people per night we are going to be subject to the minimum booking fee of £150 (for the whole group) so then we're going to be into making a decision whether we all agree to pay slightly more to still make the event happen. I think then the ones who have committed will have to get round the virtual table and see if they still want to do it. It might only work out at an extra couple of quid each. I for one would be OK about it and I know of a few others would be too. Remember guys this is awesome value for a two night break and you know from experience the food and drink (plus the shooting etc) will be excellent. Mike and I are planning to go up there this coming Saturday morning and also to meet Hendersons regarding the catering the same day. Obviously we only want to go if the blummin thing is going ahead!! Last time was great banter, great food (big up to Hendersons) and great drink. I seem to remember there was home made cheeses, wine, cider, beer and yes.... the green goo! some home made pickles as well as bread into the feast. yum yum Slimmers weekend it is not! Oh, nearly forgot, great taking the pi£h out of NJC for his Mole Protection Society (not) pink T shirt!!! I can only say he was lucky not to have bought a shotgun from Billy with sextoys in case! Mung and Bakerboy know what I mean I hear Bakerboy is bringing said double-ended-lesbian-pigeon-decoy just for the craic :o Can you really afford to miss a great couple of days for just £15 each night you stay?
