I'm happy with the little but extra for Sunday. Mike you'll have the deposit from Brown Sauce and me later.

Cheers.

When it all kicks off, Glaaaaster trailer trash versus the Cotswold ponces, handbags (or dildos?) at twenty paces, which side does an ex pat pie eating northerner join?

You worry me you lot, you really do. I feel like an extra in the Whicker Man!

Burn baby burn

Sounds fair to me. What are the activities, or are we all going to get drunk and forget all our plans by the end of Friday evening?!

I've got some Munty biltong that I'm hoping to bring. It looked bloody awful but when I cut the outside off it had a good colour and tasted good too.... Put that one down as I ate it and was fine but if you want some it's your choice! :yp:

I've got the best part of a whole Roe in the chiller at the moment too so if anything is needed please let me know. We could do with a few more people to help eat the food if the last bash was anything to go by!

Will come on the Saturday but won't stop the night but if you need he to put money in for the venue that's not a problem.

Let me know and if I need to bring anything :)

Didn't want to say sooner as the misses was talking about a holiday around then.

I'm trying to sort out the clay shooting at the moment it just seems that I'm working whenever they have the shoot day. I will get it sorted though.

Phil that's a very kind offer you have given. Are you after somebody to carry your gear ;)

Location is near Fairford Glos. I reckon it's about an hour from you about twenty minutes the other side of Swindon if that helps.

It's Saturday daytime through till Monday morning, two nights. The clay shoot is definitely on for the Sunday morning, I have checked their website and they shoot that Sunday.

The format is our own arrangements (which will evolve naturally) for food and drink on Saturday day and Saturday night, clay shoot Sunday AM, then Sunday lunch (crayfish / seafood paella?) and Sunday dinner courtesy of Hendersons. Mike, Nick and I are meeting on Saturday 7th April to discuss the finer points and the cost. Treat it as a camping (indoor camping) trip but we will give you a much better idea of the catering arrangements nearer the time.

It's all cool. Remember last time, res ipsa loquitur.

I still can't get anyone to cover me for the Cub camp that i am already on, problem is that i am the only one going with there paperwork all up to date!!!!. So sadly it will have to be a no for me.

We will. Gutted you can't come but at least you've already tried my sloe gin and my spicy apple chutney mate.

So who is going then?

Here is a slightly updated list:

Thunderbird Both

Fisherman Mike Both

Hendersons Both

Brown Sauce Both

NJC110381 Both

Activate Daytime

Baker Boy Both

Blunderbuss Sat (Sun if he does a sickie on Monday)

Ack Ack Both

Malkiscrow Both

Billy Sat night (ditto the sickie)

I will post more info on the plans for activities and shooting (and of course tantalising glimpses of menus :good:) after our visit tomorrow. Mike and I are meeting Nick there in the morning. Worth saying at the moment that the closing date of today was (and is) simply to ensure that the event goes ahead. As almost all the members from the summer epic dinner can make it with the exception of Sil Pig 3 and Stripey, we now know we can definitely go ahead.

If any other member is interested in coming remember the date isn't till May 13th/14th so let one of us know or post a question here. There is plenty of time to apply the standard vetting process.

For Essex, we'll need a CRB check as there are Vulnerable Adults going ;)
