Mike and I are meeting Nick there in the morning. Worth saying at the moment that the closing date of today was (and is) simply to ensure that the event goes ahead. As almost all the members from the summer epic dinner can make it with the exception of Sil Pig 3 and Stripey, we now know we can definitely go ahead. If any other member is interested in coming remember the date isn't till May 13th/14th so let one of us know or post a question here. There is plenty of time to apply the standard vetting process. Thunderbird Posted April 10, 2012 Report Share Posted April 10, 2012 (edited) I've been liaising with ack-ack to keep him posted as he's temporarily unable to be here and the agreement seems to be if we each bring twice as much booze as we think we could possibly need that'll be about right. Also Nick has potentially found a place that does kegs for what we reckon is about £80 for 120 pints of beer. No rush at all but we'll have to decide in the next few weeks whether we'll do any collective alcohol purchasing or just pitch up with our own choices and pass it round.
