Ferretboy111
Get something cheap would be my advice, itll only get knocked and scratched. Or if your not tight like myself get an expensive one. Alex
Baldrick
Go for something like a Browning 325 (and newer), a Miroku or a Beretta. They'll all last you for decades.
danielsonson
Spend £700 on a good quality Beretta 686, if you can get MC but Fixed is just as good! DB
browningstalker10g
my advice as someone who mainly shoots rabbits pigeons, and other pests crow's etc is not to go buy a rely expensive gun, i have some more pricey guns but i dont use them asmuch as my cheaper ones, like my escort magnum or mossberg 500 or my nova, because no matter how careful u are they will get nocks and bumbs, and iv uve paid ££££'s on something like a tenkys and u scratch it u will cry, maybe not but u get what i mean, if your going to be shooting rabbits id go for a pump or a semi and this goes for pigeon 2, but this is just my opinion, i wud sugest that u go to ur local gun rooms and try a few out for size, make sure your gun fits and u wont go far wrong, and ask them for thee advice you should find most only to willing to help

MAJ2
Lib & Liv. We have a local gunshop that carries a good selection of new and secondhand guns. They also have a good clay ground, and I'm sure they will let you try a secondhand gun before you buy. I don't think this applies to new guns. The owners are brilliant when it comes to helping newcomers, and will make sure the gun fits well etc.
