Oddman
Took a mate shooting today at Coniston. He's not shot since he was a kid popping all sorts with a .410 20+ years ago My first time there. Unbelievably quiet and what a great set up He did really well. Thankfully there were a few he couldn't hit that I could. Importantly he was safe. I learnt something today - it's as much fun bringing someone to the sport as is doing it yourself
HDAV
Totally agree, just gets embarrassing when they beat you the second time out!
miniross
Couldn't agree more mate I don't mind shooting alone when I have to but it's so much more fun with others. I visit coniston frequently if you ever want Some else to shoot with, I tend to go to Kelbrook more often but thimbleby is also a good shoot Mark
southrop
Coniston is a great ground pity they don't do more registered sporting competitions.
Tomski1000
Coniston isn't that cheap though. Sure ot looks nice but i'd rather the club house was a mud hut and the birds a bit cheaper because of it.
miniross
I second that Tom

Trust me sometimes its worth spending a little more for some nice surroundings.....especially in the winter

On Saturday we went shooting and he brought along a friend who borrowed one of my guns, now he wants to put in for his cert.......and it goes on
