jgguinness
I also have a couple of Cree torches, and can't fault them. A little 300 lumen one and a 1600 lumen one. The bigger one has a High, Medium, Low, Strobe and SOS function. It's a bit annoying as if you switch it off and then on again quite quickly it goes onto the next setting, but apart from that it has amazing range, perfect for 22lr or air rifles. Mangled99
Just a thought, do you think the 18ah one would be ok to run a pigeon magnet

rallyrus
How does it compare weight wise compared with the 7ah?? Be interested to see how it performs after the rewire, if it's ok I'll still get one and mod it
Luckyshot
Very light Will let you know. I have been reading about them and some web site say they only last about two years Still thinking it better going for Deben ones. They have the correct protection built in for powering bulbs. Maybe better going for the real deal but these two 22ah Deben batteries were nearly £500 for the pair.
Paddy Galore!
i've converted mine to run on lithium polymer batts, about the size of a fag packet and weigh about 6oz, and charging from the fag lighter port takes about an hour,
jgguinness
Not sure RedTail but my 1600 lumen is adjustable, cracking torch. Jonathan
jgguinness
Hi Steve. I have no idea as ive never used or seen a Cluelite in action, however with decent batteries it has excellent range. With the end pulled right out to focus the beam, I can get about a 6' square flood of light up to say 80'ish yards, maybe a bit more. Obviously no where near my Lightforce 170, but that plugs into the ciggie lighter socket so you have wires etc. The torch just straps onto the rifle. What will you be using it for/what rifle?
