hoggysreels
Anyone heard of a KSC M11A1 .... it looks like a sub-machine gun and according to my stepson, whos gun it is, it fires BB using compressed gas ... he lives in Tenerife and he has left it under his bed prior to going to Tenerife months ago. Are they just fun guns etc used when out paintballing, I've never come across them ... what do they actually fire, are they plastic ball bearing? ... He said he and his mates use to shoot at each other with these guns, I'm thinking it must have been paintball, surely they couldnt have shot at each other if it uses BB ... TaxiDriver
Sounds more likely to be 'Airsoft' Try googling it ? Not much use for anything more than plinking I don't think.

Yes, it's airsoft, it's a replica of a Mac 11 machine pistol. They can be used for plinking at cans or targets etc. or can be used in airsoft games which are similar to paintball. They fire 6mm plastic bb's and it will run off 'green gas' aka propane, which comes in large aerosol cans. You might manage to blind a magpie (or yourself) with a bb gun but they are useless for hunting. Just a plinker. and wear glasses if you have a go. I swear they come back faster than they go if your not careful
Sticky96
Yeah as said above they are an Airsoft gun used for military simulation and plinking type skirmishes, I used to be into that kind thing, but seriously if your going to try and shoot at anything, wear some goggles- those things ricochet loads, and if they hit something hard they will break up and it will be like shrapnel flying at you. Oh and they b***dy hurt if your shot by one also! :o Sticky
Ropemunky
they fire litle 4.5mm BBs copper coated pretty dangerouse They fire 6mm plastic .2g bb's. with an average MV of about 300fps Although they are meant to be used in Airsoft games, i agree they can be dangerous if you are not wearing the correct protection. (ie. Face masks or goggles) They are deffinately NOT suitable for shooting any type of pests or game. Please don't get caught waving one of these things about on your back garden as they are now classed as RIF's (realistic imitation firearms) and can get you in hot water if the cops are called. Hope this helps. I'm only posting this as I am a Marshall at a popular Airsoft site and we have always had a hard time keeping on the good side of the law.
