Headed over to coniston today with tomski from PW and had a few sporting clays to warm up and then not have done Skeet or DTL before we desire to have a go. Think we both didn't really get the appeal with it to watch I find it bit boring but my god when you step on the plate it's so addictive could have quite easily spent the whole day on them. It is addictive. Skeet wasn't a brilliant score but happy for the first time but DTL I shot 67/75 was so happy. Looking forward to concentrating on both disciplines a little more

Just wish coniston was a little bit easier on the pocket.

Yeah it was good fun Mark,

I've been looking at the skeet rules, think we would need someone who knows skeet to trap for us next time, all these singles, double and nominated double with an optional 1 from position 4 or something like that :o

I'll probably see if i can borrow the father inlaws skeet gun next time see if that can help me miss less :D

And maybe taking the trap gun this weekend to Allerton Bywater and doing ABT.

1st goal for DTL is hit all 25

2nd goal is score a 75

3rd goal is score a 300

good job i'm still fairly young

shootin skeet is one of the best ways of improvin your shootin and it's a great place to iron out and problem targets you might have at Sporting, you've all the angles and low and high birds too, the great man himself started shootin Skeet before he moved on to Sporting & Fitasc.

don't worry so much about the routine of the targets until you get comfortable where they are come from, shoot about 10 low house and 10 high house birds to get into the swing of things before you start your practice & atb with your practice

are you BASC qualified

No but I was the under 11's .410 single barrel side by side world champion and my name was in Clay Shooting (again) this month, I am a modest international media star so will be very qualified to teach you....... As long as you have your own ISSF cummerbund that is... <_<
