GOLD MEDAL MUNTJAC

Recommended Posts

SS called me yesterday to tell me that i was in the BASC mag.

I was a little worried that i'd been caught on camara doing something that i shouldn't, but then i remembered that i do no such things anyway.

I then remembered that BASC measured a Munty Head for me and it got a GOLD :w00t::yay:

I have now looked in the Mag and the Head was 6th best for the year measured by BASC, which is not bad for a Animal from Hertfordshire.

The head scored 65.3

Well happy and i now have a good CWD head that needs to be measured which i shot in a wood in Bedfordshire just before the end of the season,

you can't even see the .22 hole in the forehead - nice work Pelty! ;)

If you remember it was the Buck that i supplied for the Butchery night, you know the one with the good shot placement :whistling: and that was no .22 more like a Harpoon

Well done Pelty, I saw the results in the magazine and put 2+ 2 together and had Beardo confirm it was you :good:

We had a PW Muntjac gold in the top ten last year as well.

Thanks Dunkield,

I saw your Big Munty Head, have you had it measured by BASC or CIC yet

Looked good

Bit of a long story, but I sold the silver medal buck I shot year before last so I am getting this one shoulder mounted.

It won't be ready until September time, as they are both in Dorset I will do what I did before and collect it then get it CIC scored on the same day.
