rsrjerry
Its amazing what can be found under yrs of oil , dirt and abuse .the stock was really dark ,scratched ,dented but you could see there was a nice grain under all of that so my mate set to work on it to see what he could find and i think the result is rarther good ..not bad for a £50 no name belgium sxs shotgun . I will try and get him to email me pics of before as well . PHOTOS OF STOCK BEFORE NOW ADDED , SEE FEW POSTS DOWN pics Edited June 3, 2012 by rsrjerry

mpk
Nice looking bit of wood but would look lots better with a thick recoil pad and removing the wooden extension thats on there. he has done an excellent job
kent
A great job of highlighting the grain, its the real skill in stock finishing IMO. The rest anyone can do with time and care

Frenchieboy
Now that you have added ther "before" photos it really does highlight just how good a job your mate has done! I would rather see a nice recoil pad instead of the wooden extention piece, but that's just me being a "fussy old ***"! Even so, it is a really nice piece of wood you have there! Something to be proud of!
