Actionpigeons
Thats pigeon shooting if the wind changes just a little so does the flight line.

kxkirk
Its why we love pigeon shooting it can be so rewarding or so frustrating but we still get up early and stand or sit in the fields come sun, wind or rain and sometimes all in one day. :-)

Not being funny, i'd have either moved elsewhere or gone home.
motty
Thats pigeon shooting if the wind changes just a little so does the flight line. Maybe, but if pigeons want to feed on a certain field, the wind changing shouldn't make much difference.

Actionpigeons
Maybe, but if pigeons want to feed on a certain field, the wind changing shouldn't make much difference. if you think so, but if that is the case where have they gone. The wind changing makes a lot of difference. Pigeons use the wind like we use the roads. If the wind changes there flight lines change. There is plenty of food about at this time of the year so they can pick ant choose where they feed. I could go into more depth but make up your own mind Edited June 18, 2012 by Actionpigeons

motty
if you think so, but if that is the case where have they gone. The wind changing makes a lot of difference. Pigeons use the wind like we use the roads. If the wind changes there flight lines change. There is plenty of food about at this time of the year so they can pick ant choose where they feed. I could go into more depth but make up your own mind I would say that if pigeons have forsaken a field, the more likely reason would be that they have found a better or more appealing crop to feed on. As said before, if pigeons are really into a field and have been feeding strongly there, why would the wind stop them? If it is the same crop on the very next field, maybe then it would be easier for pigeons to drop in there if the wind changed.
