I've not seen rain like it for years, my local village (East Leake) has sand bags outside doors, the standing water is incredible, I'm yet to go and see whats happened to the rape....

This morning, the sky looked like the end of world was nigh, really, really, strange, car park lights on at 11am.

Looking at the sheep from the office window now...bright sunshine...beautiful.

I saw a few reports of it on telly. I can only say one word to describe it - "Incredible"! For heavens sake, we are into the end of June and surposed to be having our summer weather - Sunshine, warm breezes, etc.

What has happened to the weather? :hmm:

It seems to be getting worse and worse every year?

Weird, weird weather.

Was in Burton On Trent about 1100Hrs yesterday as the heavens opened. Drove back through Coalville as Bardon Quarry spewed water across the road!

At about 13.20hrs it honked down in Beaumont Leys area, flooded our factory......36,000 square feet of mopping up!

Then went to the bank in Anstey at about 14.45 and paddled across the road.

Am now worried about trench foot.

Can't wait for the Met offices' excuses.......
