I'm heading over there around the 7th...could see what I can find although I'm not sure I'll be near a bass-pro this time...although will be near a walmart.

The link isn't working...- are theses things not similar to a Tuna-grip?

Regards,

Gixer

http://www.amazon.com/Allen-Company-Knit-Sock-52-Inch/dp/B0035LTXUO

The are simply large socks for storing guns in, saves dings and scratches in the gun cabinet.

Allen do a six pack for about $30, perfect size for non scoped guns or small rifles with a small low scope.

I refuse to pay £46 in this country.

I need 2 packs

Regards

Rob

Gixer ,should you ever get to go to the niagara falls area of the states then let me know . I will get my cousin to take you out bass fishing on the Niagara river and trout and salmon fishing on lake ontario .

You will not want to come home ,oh ,and maybe a stalk or two in the southern tier of upstate new york for white tail deer ,oh ,and a walk up for turkey ,oh ,and a day out for coyote ,oh ,and a day out with the bow for black bears . His favourite turn of phrase is ,"I wonder what the poor people are doing today ".

Wow! Sounds fantastic...I work there a fair bit and mostly in Texas and Oklahoma (which are both fantastic) I also have a few friends in Louisiana and that really is a sportsmanship paradise! I have to say I love the USA and feel most people who have a go at the states are either jealous or have never been there!

I think you'll find Somalia to be a little worse to be poor in.

I agree but anyone who`s been to the States will tell you of the number of homeless people occupying almost every shop doorway in all the cities.Great place to be if your successful but if your not your blamed for not working hard enough or being a shirker.

Always my favourite holiday destination though.

Is anywhere good to be poor ? I am poor here and I don't like it ! 😥

You have access to clean water, to health care, if you can not afford a place to live you are given help to pay for housing and under some circumstances given a place to live for free. If you are in trouble you can call the police, ambulance service or fire brigade for assistance, they won't demand a fee before helping you and they are unlikely to rape and kill you.

So in answer to your question, yes there are places that are good if you are poor. You happen to live in one of the best places in the world to be poor (it's probably not such a bad place to be rich in either). It can be difficult to give credit to, and be grateful for, something you take so for granted.
