Scots to suffer further firearms restrictions?

Being as we're dealing with output from politicians, this is an unsurprisingly ill-informed proposal. All the same the same, it has to be a worry that the SNP would appear to eventually bring a complete end to licenced gun ownership.

For those of us in the rest of the UK, the sheep mentality of politicians would be a real concern if legislation like this was passed north of the border.

If I were a Scottish shooter, I'd be a tad peeved. I hold shotguns and rifles but not a single lethal weapon. Weapons are held by the armed forces, police and criminals. What the guy is saying is that they have lost all control over the criminal element and are looking for excuses.

would they just end up buying one gun? .338 for rabbits? or a .17hornet for deer and rabbits.

guns are tools. like spanners, different sizes for different nuts.

the thing is some like a spanner for every possible nut available and then two for the same nut at times and others have a couple of adjustables that cover most eventualities.
