Unable to find any pigeons yesterday but spotted lots of corvid activity over a silage field that has recently been cut and waste pumped on to it.And also backs onto a sheep field so thought id have a bash

on it.Set up with 4 decoys at about 11ish i know people say you have to be there early but was after pigeons so just took a chance. The weather was boiling here and we had no rain while i was out.I just used some stealth netting against the hedge and left the dead birds as they dropped.Ended with 76 corvids and 1 pigeon farmer chuffed told me to leave them on the field for the kites and buzzards to finish off.On way home about 5ish saw a few pigeons milling about on some rape so took a closer look. They were feeding on the weed were the rape hasnt taken about 70yd area on the corner of the field.Sat and watched for an hour and birds were coming from all directions to feed on the weed.So check any fields you have with large weed patches will be shooting the field tomorrow so fingers crossed.Pics of the corvids
