Was down on Lough Neagh this morning at the ducks. Clouds of pigeons flying south over the water from their roost on Rams Island. They normally fly to the shore and fly over the land. They had somewhere in mind and they were going straight there.

By the time I saw them they had been flying over the water for a couple of miles.

there seems to be something about the 30's. I have been picking up between 30-40 for the past few weeks. The wind started a little this afternoon and I got under a decent flight, ending up with (yes you guessed it!) 33. I will stick a few pics up later.

I haven't seen birds about in huge numbers, but they are about if you look hard enough. I know of two bags of 186 and 115 taken off stubble in the last two weeks. And a bag of 50+ in the p******** rain today. I have shot about 150 in three weeks, they have been full of barley and clover.
