sky gipsy
Hi It looks similar to the machine I use as a mincer. I know it comes with the attachments to fill sausage casings, but I think you may struggle with the rate the mix comes out of the nozzles being a newbie (no offence meant , as this was the advice I was given when I started out... and it was right!). The machine does what it says on the box....grinds meat. If funds allow, I advise to do what I did & buy a grinder / mincer and a manual sausage stuffer (crank handle type) because with one of these you can fill the casing skins as slow or fast as you like. There are a couple of sites to check out for all your requirements, http://www.weschenfe...age_seasonings_ and http://www.sausagema...org/index.html. Hope this helps you make up your mind & take the steps into the world of sausage making

bigoak
Mate, I made a stuffer out of water pipe. Requires the quick use of a lathe. I am sure a wood turning lathe would suffice. An example can be found on my YouTube site barnfinkle. I have written the directions on how to make it and it is in guns and game magazine. I agree With Colin. You need a dedicated stuffer. Lord Geordie
Bushwear have a cracking stuffer for about £80 iirc. They also had a cheaper one but they arent too clever.
Lord Geordie
I have an electric mincer and at first used it for stuffing too. I got very good at it and had no air in my sausages and managed a good batch quite efficiently. It can be done. I did find the stuffer a lot.quicker but it's not perfect hence wanting the better one in Bushwear
