Frenchieboy
You should come up to Lancashire and save yourself a load of money mate! You don't need to spend that sort of money to find out how windy it is up here, you just need to stick your head out of the window - It doesn't cost you a penny and never fails!

CharlieT
Looks good value. Always suprises me how many people spend money on a rangefinder but laugh at the thought of a wind meter. In long range shooting wind is equally as important as distaance.
magman
All i will add to this after shooting at a longer distance is that wind can change direction in 100 yrds and blow the oppersite way Do you have a meter every 100 yrds showing direction and speed , no but a balloon at every 100 yrds can Edited August 25, 2012 by magman

The bottom line is that most of us don't have the time or inclination to study sniper info or get up to their standards when doing vermin control fox rabbit or even deer. If you have got to worry about how strong the wind is it is simply not right to take the shot. We need to have respect for our quarry. Now it is different if youu are just using bits of steel to plink at.
