walshie
I watched American Guns the other night where they made some guy a punt gun. Is it just me or does $10k seem an awful lot of money for an 8ft length of pipe threaded and capped? And how are WW2 bomber graphics anything to do with punt gunning? I'm sure the vehicle it was mounted on was worth half that, but he didn't ask for a buggy, he asked for a punt gun and they did spectacularly well in making it look nothing like the picture, let alone the quality. Oh, and who wants to give that "workshop manager" a slap? And the fat one.
antuk99
Yes I agree wish I could charge for stuff like that did you see the stock before they cut it off being a joiner I'm sure my lad could build a better stock
Scully
Missed it this week, but a mate said how ridiculous it was.Did the ducks 'explode' when shot;everything else seems to. There's never any footage of the fat bloke being winched out of the workshop, but we see him on the surface now and then. On the plus side,I believe Paige was looking perky. walshie
I'm saying nothing about Paige. I hear her dad owns a gun!
bullet boy
Paige always looks good!!I did love those pair of 1911 Pistols in that beautiful presentation case though!!
vole
What a gross repro punt gun , more like a +*nt gun . I try to cut them a bit of slack as it is an entertainment program but the product was just ugly and stupid . So was the presenting of the Colt , cringeworthy . Still not missed an episode saying that . At least they do not profess to have invented Hushpower guns .
pboro shot
have to agree punt gun was tat but on the other side of the coin the 1911 they made looked really nice like with all these discovery programes i suppose they have to try and attract a wider audeince
bullet boy
I agree with "Vole" the presentation of the Colt 1911 was awful to say the least!OTT! I love the programme on the basis of seeing all the beautiful guns apart from the Punt Gun of course, and not forgetting the gorgeous Paige!! Scaffold tube mounted on a fence post is what I would describe that as, paint job  speaks for itself.. 1911 was decent though.......
