seeker
Does what it says .... no more / no less. Comes set up for one case length. Only extra you might consider getting/ borrowing are scales to check the actual powder drop for each bush, but you would need this what ever machine you get. In a current thread on here are some pics of how you can "adjust" the bush size, with other helpful info. I shoot with several people who have machines over 20 yrs old and still turning out perfect reloads. If you intend to load by the 1000 an auto might be preferable. Pre-owned models appear occasionaly.
Guest cookoff013
the lee just makes shells, its the components and special recipes that really make the difference. even the best industrial loaders in the world can make poor quality shells. after they are loaded no-one can tell what they are made on. ps, i have a mec, i`m on my second as i upgraded. Lord Geordie
I recently got the load all II and find it does the job fine. I got it with the powder and shot bushes and have made a fair few carts already with it. The two bits that narked me were the final crimp could be better "i now have that sorted" and then you operate the lever is it VERY squeeky, means I can't reload late at night. Digital scales are cheap to buy! I paid about £6 for a pair of jewelers scales which are accurate to 0.1 grain. They are very important as each powder has different density, so if you use a bush that drops 21.5gr of greendot it may drop 25gr of a different powder causing over powdering which in turn could be catastrophic. Lead shot is the same depending on shot size! Larger shot will reduce the weight in the bush. Once you find which bushes work for specific weights of powders and shot, WRITE them down and keep a catalouge for future reference Enjoy your reloading
