besty57
hi guys. just been on the phone to the above firearms team.to ask them what i should do now that i am a full member of my gun club, and when i will recieve my fac[.i had my visit in june].only to be told it had been posted out on the 21 august.which was news to me. i never recieved it ,and was told if if has not arrived by monday to get back in touch with them and they will print another one. it seems funny that i was told i would take 6 months ,and then without notice they post it out early. any one else had anything like this happen before alan

Imperfection
was told 6 months as thats how long the probatianery period is and they had to check dates etc Usually, when you've completed your probationary period the membership secretary will inform your local constabulary of your status being changed to 'full' so they will already know that you're ok to apply for FAC. Lord Geordie
I find Northumbria police to be very efficient and they are very nice to deal with. I had my renewal through in double quick time. When I had my visits they were concise and to the point and very professional. I am very happy with their service. Fisheruk
Don't complain about them doing it faster than you expected, just be grateful.
