VicW
In the late 50's I used to work just round the corner from the Mars factory in Slough, opposite the Citroen factory. We could buy rejects from the Mars factory for next to nothing.Mars bars then were like house bricks compared to the piddle ***** things you get today. There were Crest bars, loads of other stuff and huge bags of Spangles.I was in digs and my landlady worked in the Wagon Wheel factory. She used to bring home bags of mishapes, sometimes there would be three or four stuck together and as has been said they were the size of wagon wheels. MC
I'm sure that Pav sells all those. You get excellent service from him, all well packages and delivered to your door. Woolworths started to do Old English Spangles. And Texan bars have been released again. But they weren't the same.
