Tod
i use a daryl gibson and find it ok but i think the sam neyt one is the best once mastered, both about 30 quid but saying that theres nothing wrong with the primos power call for 11 quid. steve_b_wales
The Primos Power Crow caller is about the best on the market, and is around the £10-12 mark. I use mine for Crows,Rooks and Jackdaw's. I highly recommend it.
pigeon pete
we bought loads of different ones ,some dear ones as well ,then i went to trago mills in devon and they got some MAD MAN crow callers ,red and black ,they were £7 but went down to £2.99 i bought 4 of them ,i find its all down to how you blow them ,you need to growl at the same time as you blow ,this will give you a deeper raspier call ,and ive had a few and replaced the reed with different homemade thickness plastic reeds ,the one i got i can also call jackdaws ,and ive blown on the side of the mouth peace and ive called a deer in with a squeal.if you look at this video and use the same blowing method it will work on any caller you have http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fCx7XGkuLfk Edited September 23, 2012 by pigeon pete

Gregthegreat
Standard Primos for me. The reed is adjustable for tone and as stated above, with the correct growling technique it works dry well.
