Ernest
Evening everyone Just wondering what you all use for the woodwork care of your guns. Read quite a bit on the Internet, but looking for it straight from the shooters Cheers Chris

P~MX
after you've cleaned it (warm soapy water) and dried it well use a silicone cloth to give it a nice protective coatin OR use top quality wood wax & rub it well in and buff it up nicely
Dekers
Legia is good for cleaning wood. If you want protection then you need to look at the treatment already applied to your wood and treat accordingly.
steve_b_wales
I use Mansion House polish on my woodwork. I had a few tins given me, some years back, and still have some left. I don't think you can buy this product now. There are many good quality household woodwork cleaners out there that will do the job. There's no need to spend extra money just because the product is for 'guns'.
Dibs
Unless you need to re do the finish then I find red Legia to clean and then green Legia to polish it and protect works a treat if its an oiled finish. Both are excellent products with little effort.
