Got to the forshaw for about 5:45 quickly got into our hide, there was 3 of us so we decided to all sit together in the same hide for a bit of company. Got all our decoys out saw plenty of mallard but none committed to come in so no shots. Had a skeen of geese come straight at us, we dropped 4 between us it was great I had jelly legs and my heart was going to beat out of my chest. Another interesting thing that happened is I managed to turn a few geese our direction with my goose flute which I have been practicing, again never committed but seeing them turn was fantastic. Weather was against us, no wind bright sunny morning, can't wait to get there on a windy morning.

Anyway here's a pic of mine which I will be having for tea today, and the rest of the week probibally. Lol
