Dunkield
The best thing to measure them with is the toy tape measure you sometimes get in Christmas crackers. If you use a normal sized one or a metal tape they just don't bend enough. I sat and watched the CIC man measure my last one and he used a bit of string and then measured that, IMO that gives 2 chances to not be accurate, but what do I know... camokid
do you remember the score for each medal ?
Dunkield
I have the paperwork at home. First one (now sold) was a very good silver, just shy of gold. The second one was better looking, but only just a gold.
Beardo
According to the CIC bluebook Bronze 54.00 – 54.99 Silver 55.00 – 55.99 Gold 56.00 + http://www.cic-wildl...a/blue_book.pdf though if i hunt around i keep finding different answers! camokid
i have gave the scoring a go and im hitting 66.4 that makes a gold but im probably be over generous but a silver is defenetly on the cards cic say bronze 56 silver 58.5 gold 61 thats going on my last medal certificate that i got a 58.4 bronze half a point of silver
Dunkield
66 is a pretty huge score, as they used to say at school show us your workings out The CIC score is the internationally recognised one, I would go by that. My silver was 60.30, the gold was 62.00 - both shot within yards of each other, but a year or so apart.
