have seen this done before bit with a hand cranked hoist. Works very well.. might try that with my next one!

We used to skin fallen stock like that at the hunt kennels, although we used an old Massey.

That looks like a great method to me, simple and no mess!!

Can do that in the field as well. Probably a better idea than tying it to the lamp post outside the house

By the time you have got the golf ball, tied it, put it onto the tow bar and tied deer to something solid.....you could have skinned it .

I saw this done on UK TV with a young calf, male and not wanted on a dairy farm. It was culled by the slaughterman, and then skinned. It was part of a documentary on the state of British Farming and the lack of market for veal.
