shakin stevens
Does anybody have any lacrosse waders? i have a pair coming from the states and i have seen a few reviews saying they leak around the crotch area, but some say they are spot on if you get a larger size like i did, they reckon the neoprene stretches if they are a bit small, must have been a moment of madness and expensive one at that!! rgds rob. shakin stevens
2 seasons is all i'm getting out of mine, all my own fault barbed wire wounds and even had a tree branch go through a pair in a hide, should have looked more into the reviews on lacosse but most where from 2009 so they might be better. I think leaking waders are the least of your problems if you are going to Scotland with Dale

My cabalas feel fine in this regards, like all things clothing related they have to suit the individual wearer. Aint it time we had some decent UK neoprene again? once the fly fishing world went breathable crazy the winter Grayling angler with his long trotting outfit and the Wildfowler with his gun have been having a bad time here as Neoprene is now seen as the skinflints choice and made to a price not a quality. Good stretchy Neo with good mud soles on quality insulated boots with extra bum and knee patches, buckles that don't get between your shoulder pocket and the gun butt- it isn't rocket science! and there is a market (carriage costs and exchange rates taken into account)

rjimmer
You won't want to walk far in them, unless you wear shorts underneath. Mine didn't leak in the crotch area but the boots soon perished and cracked. Don't store them anywhere mice can get at them, they love the neoprene. I got mine when Field and Forces were packing up so I don't know how long they had been in stock. They were supposed to be 'Large' but were in fact 'Giant' size and come up to my neck. The Americans seem to think you are 8 feet tall if you have size 12 feet. Although I get wet feet, the insulation is so good, it doesn't feel cold. I shall soon cut the boots off and use the rest as sallopettes.
