gamebore clear pigeon v kent velocity hv pigeon

Hi all.

Was just wondering which cartridge people think are better for general pigeon shooting (decoying/roost shooting)

I use kents 28 g 7.5 ,but I do carry 32 g 6 for those 300 yard shots lol

Both do the job well, I use them for all game (driven and rough) and pigeon (decoying, roosting, flightline)

I have a mix, try get velocity as they are cheaper in my local but not always in stock

 

I don't think 1 is better than the other, they both do the same job, I have not noticed any diference when I chop and change between the 2

i think the clear pigeon have been around longer and people tend to trust them as good all round shells. as said though there pratically a very similar load with very little difference.

I use both I also use the cheapest that the shop has in, they all go bang and will despatch birds if the shot is put in the right place, after all that is what they are designed to do!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I shoot 30g 5s clear pigeon. Iv been out today and had some amazing shots with them all dead on impact

Iv never shot the other one as I'm sticking with what I like

Rather miss with a cheap one than miss with a dear one

clear pigeon gives a better pattern in my shooter.
