eddoakley
As per title guys, anyone done any type of shooting in Crete? Got a wedding to go to and dont fancy a week of just drinking so fancy trying to book something. I am waiting to find out exactly where I will be staying but know it isnt in a tourist type area. So if anyone has any ideas or knows of an outfitter or similar then all info would be greatly appreciated, Cheers Edd

Fatcatsplat
They shoot anything and everything with whatever they can get their hands on!! We stayed in Georgioupolis a few years ago and got chatting to the locals on more than one occasion - Everyone seems to own a shotgun and semi-automatic of one type or another and they will hunt anything that moves. There was a clay ground just outside the town, but it was a bit of a closed shop. Meant to go here, but never got the chance - Might be worth a look, but seems more of a taster session: www.creteclays.com Plenty to do there anyway - Ignore Malia and have a pootle round - Lake Kournas is great, Georgioupolis is a nice fishing town and Xania has enough to keep you occupied for a day or two. If you're driving, take care as they are mental drivers....

Have a look at the caves and find out about the story of what happened there...

Vince Green
Got taken to a clay shoot in Cyprus years ago and it was so dangerous it was funny. Wish I had a camera phone in those days. It was like something out of Borat.
