Don't bet on it i am not a pro

I have only been clay shooting 7 to 8 months :good:

Even then it's an average once a week and 50 clays each time.

Some weeks i can't make it other weeks i just do 25!!

Will see how it goes on the day anyway.

The Grounds have no postcode

Steve smiths is approx where the black dot is at the top of the map

When you pass through Dinnington Steve Smiths is around 1/3 of a mile up Horton grange road.

You will come to a Layby on the right side of the road on a Bend with a copse of Fir trees behind it. At the back of the Layby is a Gate. This is the Drive to the shooting grounds. Simply follow the drive to the top and follow it to the left to enter the car park.

I look forward to seeing you all there

LOOKING AT YOUR MAP THE BRIDGE OVER THE A1 JUST BELOW TO THE RIGHT WAS REMOVED LAST SATURDAY WHEN THE A1 WAS CLOSED, YOU WILL NEED TO CONTINUE ON PAST IT TO STANNINGTON (ABOUT 3 MILES) AND TURN TO COME SOUTH AT THE UNDERPASS AND FOLLOW THE SIGNS FROM THERE, BASICALLY YOU TAKE THE NEXT MAIN EXIT OFF THE A1 COMING SOUTH WHICH BRINGS YOU BACK OVER THE A1 AND RUNS PARALELL (IT IS THE OLD A1) AND FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS FROM THERE.

Easiest way to find it is to follow the blue marked road

Come off the A1 north at the NEXT junction after the A696 (ponteland) exit. You SHOULD pass under a railway bridge before your exit.

It will be sign posted for Gosforth and Kingston Park.

When at the top of the slip road turn left onto a 50MPH stretch of road.

Follow that road to the small roundabout at the end and turn RIGHT.

Follow that winding road (stay on the road and don't turn off) after approx 2 miles you will enter Dinnington.

Go through dinnington again following the road you are on and at the far end the road bears right then left.

Simply follow the road for another 1/2 a mile till you come to a lay by on your right with trees behind it and in the lay by is a gate. Follow the track from the gate to the top and turn left in to the car park.

Waiting to hear from

RobF

Paulos

to see if they are still going

Rob Steve smiths is on Horton Grange road just about 1/3 of a mile outside of dinnington on the right hand side at the rear of a layby which backs onto a small copse of trees.

At the back of the layby is a gate and a small single track lane leading to the grounds.
