born_2_kill
Thinking of getting one of these for quick reloading when out in the field, however ive read a couple of things that have put me off. They tend to be baggy/loose fitting towards the fore-end of the stock and slip forward. I will be using it on my Escort. http://www.amazon.co...=I1U7AO55VVKIN8
al4x
they are slower than having the cartridges in your pocket

Joe99
Not much use in the field, and a bit too Rambo for my liking. Save yourself a tenner.
SniperCWF
They are very good if the butt is cold, for comfort's sake. I use one on my Escort.

born_2_kill
Do they tend to sagg near the pistol grip? I dont want it to look like a sloppy fit that catches Edited January 3, 2013 by born_2_kill
Zapp
They really are no quicker than a pocket, plus you have far less risk of getting muck on the cartridge and then transferring it to the breech. The only use I can see for these is if you needed to either covertly stash a shotgun in a vehicle with a ready supply of extra ammunition or you needed to carry one covertly in clothes where having extra cartridges would be too obvious. Neither scenario applies to the field, so assuming you are talking about field shooting, unless you are talking about PSG or want to hunt ED209, just bung them in your pockets. Darren north east
I had one used it once and slung it! Slips all over the place more of a hindrance!
hillmouse
Good for wildfowling. You can follow the trail of escaped cartridges back off the marsh!!!! I bought one years ago, soon became a baggy saggy cartridge dropper.
