Thinking of getting one of these for quick reloading when out in the field, however ive read a couple of things that have put me off. They tend to be baggy/loose fitting towards the fore-end of the stock and slip forward. I will be using it on my Escort. http://www.amazon.co...=I1U7AO55VVKIN8

I use one to keep a few big shells in.just in case i need a heavy load for a fox when im out and about

They really are no quicker than a pocket, plus you have far less risk of getting muck on the cartridge and then transferring it to the breech.

The only use I can see for these is if you needed to either covertly stash a shotgun in a vehicle with a ready supply of extra ammunition or you needed to carry one covertly in clothes where having extra cartridges would be too obvious. Neither scenario applies to the field, so assuming you are talking about field shooting, unless you are talking about PSG or want to hunt ED209, just bung them in your pockets.
