browningstalker10g
4 young ferrets i recently aquired and became very attached to, 3 gills and a hob, all funny little carechters, keep my dogs in check, come in the house, even though there ''not allowed'', unfortunatley this morning i went to feed them to find there cage door open, and they were gone, it would apear that something got into there large hutch, managed to undo both latches and they got away!! but oddly my neighbours terrier has scratches all over his head and body, coincidence?? i think not........... Cranfield
Before you fracture relationships with your neighbour, are you sure a dog could have "opened" the latches ? At a previous address, I had my ferret hutches interfered with during the hours of darkness and the doors left open. Some ferrets were still asleep in their beds and a couple of others disappeared, but returned later. I think it was someone expecting to find a rabbit dinner, who opened the hutches. Hopefully, the big hob took half their finger off.

Ferret Master
I hope they turn up and make sure that you leave the cage door open with food and bedding inside. They will turn up. FM :yp:
