Greenhunter
I started making them for the exact same reasons as you...lots of time and not too much cash about to buy at CG's prices. The Nemesis took about 4 years to perfect I suppose so, yes, a lot of work , time and effort went into them and I know I'm biased but they will take some beating imo. The anti-flip device you used on your wire cradle was my invention as it happens. Shared that with loads on here and its great to see simple things like that bringing others success and being useful. Anyway, welldone in making yours. If you need any tips regarding the colours needed to paint the birds or whatever send me a PM. GH
Mr Rizzini
Thats great mate, I really like the way your cradle is hidden so I may try and make that next
KDR
I would just like to say that Greenhunter has helped me and my lad a great deal in making his floaters....his design is ingenious and far better than others i have seen and used...very helpful and genuine bloke. fortune
I've got one half built but your ideas are more developed than mine and I will do a rebuild to incorporate the under slot and mount. It would be helpful to see how the attitude control rod spur is shaped and its size/ angle. The paint colours would be good also. Thanks for all of your generous help and I hope that things turn out better for you in the forthcoming year. I've been made redundant in the past and it isn't easy. Something that you can't control. GH Not getting into any arguments here but did you show Chris Green this as the ones i bought from him about 6 years ago have the bend in the cradle as well
Greenhunter
That was a genuine statement Hawkeye I bought one of his a while before that and that didn't have that modification. I came up with it totally independently, that's all I can say. For all I know he may have seen mine. GH
hawkeye
Right problem solved, but thats beside the point the main thing is are you getting much shooting in being an old retired gentleman :innocent: like me the fields round me are like boating lakes i don't think they will ever dry out...
